 Cooperation Agreement between Qiyas and Shaqra University to Establish Computerized Test Centers


HH Dr. Faisal Bin Abdullah Al-Mshari Al-Saud,  ETEC Chairman, signed  a cooperation agreement with Shaqra University, represented by its Rector His Excellency Dr. Awadh bin Khuzaim Al-Surour Al-Asmari, last Thursday the 6th of  Sha’aban 1440H. The agreement is concerned with establishing a computerized test center to accommodate students in nearby governorates. The agreement was signed during the 8th International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education, which was held at the Exhibition Center in Riyadh.

The agreement entails the allocation of classrooms at Shaqra University to be used as a computerized test center for NCA tests. Further, it also addressed opportunities for cooperation and support to implement social responsibility initiatives, make use of the University’s facilities to hold free workshops and training sessions that target different segments of the society, and raise awareness of the University’s colleges, programs, and specializations by providing brochures and pamphlets at the NCA’s computerized test centers. 

The agreement is part of NCA’s strategic plan which aims to provide high quality services to beneficiaries including the establishment of permanent computerized test centers in addition to the centers recently launched by NCA, which brings the number to a total of 92 centers across the Kingdom.

The computerized tests project aims at offering a number of computerized tests daily, which increases flexibility in testing times, enhances quality through the use of developed electronic systems, and facilitates the procedures related to handlig different types and versions of questions and especially questions that involve multimodal components. Further, computerized tests also provide a unified format for all test-takers taking into consideration the requirements of those with special needs, in addition to reaching beneficiaries in different regions of the Kingdom.​
