In cooperation with “SOCPA”, the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants, NCA, an ETEC affiliate, holds the SOCPA fellowship examination at the Center’s computerized test centers across the Kingdom.
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, NCA's spokesperson and the Director of Communication, Public Relations, and Media, stated that the exam measures the competency of individuals who wish to obtain the SOCPA fellowship in terms of their theoretical knowledge, as well as their practical abilities, awareness of professional responsibility, and the behavioral attributes chartered accountants are required to have.
He added that registering for the fellowship exam requires a university degree in accounting. However, graduates from other university departments must fulfil certain requirements determined by the testing committee. He pointed out that the exam, which will continue until Wednesday the 12 of Sha’aban 1440H, covers five areas including accounting, auditing, Zakat and tax, jurisprudence of transactions, and commercial laws.
Mr. Al-Rasheed also indicated that the exam will be held at NCAs’ computerized test centers in Riyadh, Makkah, Medina, Jeddah, Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Qassim, Tabuk, and Abha.
It is worth mentioning that the fellowship exam is part of the agreement between NCA and SOCPA which entails that NCA administers the exam via its computerized test centers for all applicants across the Kingdom.
